Method note: The calculation applies the official formula “P = m × ln(N) + c” and the fixed weighted-values table for economic activities as published in the HRSD procedural guide for the Developed Nitaqat program (2026 edition). The officially assigned band may include additional special-case rules applied inside the “Nitaqi” service on Qiwa that this tool does not reflect, so the result is an instant planning estimate and the final reference is the band shown on Qiwa. Separately, 70% nationalization of project-management professions takes effect on 14 February 2027 as an additional requirement outside this table.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Nitaqat Mutawar program?

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development program that classifies private-sector establishments into bands (Platinum, High, Medium and Low Green, and Red) according to their nationalization rate compared with the minimum required for their economic activity and workforce size.

How is the required nationalization rate for each band calculated?

With the official formula P = m × ln(N) + c, where N is the total workforce and m and c are fixed values per activity, band and year published in the program's procedural guide (2026 edition with values for 2026, 2027 and 2028).

Where do I find my establishment's current nationalization rate?

In the Nitaqi service on the Qiwa portal. If it isn't at hand, use the Saudi vs non-Saudi headcount method and the tool computes the rate directly.

Does the Yellow band still exist?

No. The Yellow band was abolished in 2025 and its establishments reclassified as Red; there are five bands today.

How many Saudi hires do I need to reach the next band?

The tool shows the number directly, assuming Saudi hires are added without reducing non-Saudi staff and taking into account that the minimum shifts as the workforce grows.

Is the result official?

No. It is a planning estimate using the official formula and table. The assigned band is the one shown on Qiwa, which may include special-case rules the tool doesn't reflect.
